Visiting the RDS Dublin Horse Show 19/08/2022

After an absence of a few years, we had great fun at the RDS Dublin Horse Show this week. We got to see some amazing horses and riders in action. The show was colourful and vibrant, and we really enjoyed the experience.

The event is taking place from Wednesday and continues to Sunday, and there is so much to see and do! There are lots of stalls selling horse-related goods, as well as demonstrations of various equestrian sports. There is also plenty for the kids to do, with a petting zoo at the “Kids Zone”.




Sustainability and the environment are important to both Thorntons Recycling and the RDS. If you are visiting the event, you will notice that the waste/recycling points have a 3-bin system: General Waste, Recyclables, and Compost. The initiative is a campaign that encourages the public to think about their everyday actions and the impact they have on the environment and the steps they can take to make a difference.
