The broad remit of responsibilities includes 

·         Ensuring all collections/deliveries are made in a professional and timely fashion.

·         To resolve issues/queries effectively and to escalate to relevant departments where necessary.

·         To establish good working relationships with customers.

·         Conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle before departing

·         Follow route and time schedule.


Person Specifications 

·         Minimum 1 year experience driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

·         Must hold all relevant C/EC Licence/Driver Digital Card/CPC Card.

·         A good level of written and spoken English is an advantage.

·         Ability to work under pressure.

·         Excellent driving history with an accident-free record.

            We are seeking a Facility Manager to oversee and manage our Balbriggan location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, staff management, and ensuring the facility operates smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. This role involves communication with various stakeholders, management of plant and equipment, and a commitment to safety and procedural compliance.

            Key Responsibilities:

            • Manage the facility on a daily basis, ensuring smooth operations and staff performance.
            • Collaborate with other managers to ensure seamless running of the facility.
            • Coordinate and liaise with the EPA for visits and other related matters.
            • Guarantee the maintenance of all plant and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
            • Oversee the financial performance of the site, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets.
            • Handle complaints and public relations concerns related to the facility.
            • Ensure the facility operates in compliance with EPA Licence standards.
            • Maintain adherence to Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
            • Supervise and ensure staff receive proper training and are competent in their respective roles.
            • Prioritise safety and ensure the facility operates in accordance with all relevant regulations.
            • Oversee and aim for maximum tonnage throughput annually.
            • Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities as required.

            Skills and Qualifications:

            • Proven experience in a similar role such as Site Manager, Production Manager, or Maintenance Management.
