The broad remit of responsibilities includes 

·         Ensuring all collections/deliveries are made in a professional and timely fashion.

·         To resolve issues/queries effectively and to escalate to relevant departments where necessary.

·         To establish good working relationships with customers.

·         Conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle before departing

·         Follow route and time schedule.


Person Specifications 

·         Minimum 1 year experience driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

·         Must hold all relevant C/EC Licence/Driver Digital Card/CPC Card.

·         A good level of written and spoken English is an advantage.

·         Ability to work under pressure.

·         Excellent driving history with an accident-free record.

            Location: Dunboyne, Balbriggan, and Parkwest.
             
            The broad remit of responsibilities includes: 
            General Operative work, picking, cleaning etc. 
            In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your manager.
            Must be available for weekend work where necessary.

            Pay rate €10.81 p.h.

            The broad remit of responsibilities includes

            • Travel between a number of sites in the Meath / Dublin region to monitor and ensure compliance. 
            • Provide Environmental advice to senior management and colleagues. Liaising with operations and other departments on a daily basis to ensure that the conditions of the licence are adhered to.
            • Schedule and carry out Environmental monitoring, sampling and reporting for EPA and permitted facilities in accordance with the site licences/permits. Additional monitoring for internal site reports being carried out and reported to senior management as required.
            • Maintenance of the company Environmental Management System, (ISO 14001 certified). Carrying out audits and drafting procedures. Taking the lead on the Internal Management System and liaising with the H&S and Quality team representatives.
            • Working as part of a close EH&S team, to assist when necessary to ensure deadlines are met and to cover periods of annual leave. As such additional related duties will be required to be undertaken from time to time, as directed by the EHS Manager.


            Job Specifications

            Essential

            • Have a science or engineering degree/diploma.
            • Previous experience in similar Environmental compliance role.
            • Knowledge of waste legislation and Irish regulations.
            • Experience working with ISO 14001 in a previous company.
            • Full Driving License and your own vehicle.


            Person Specifications

            • Excellent communication skills - applicant needs to be confident and be able to effectively communicate with general staff and to senior management as well as regulatory staff.
            • Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Applicants must be structured in their approach to tasks and able to record and track tasks and duties as they are progressed and completed across multiple sites.
            • Ability to multitask, prioritise duties and work on several similar duties across multiple sites.
            • Have a very good working knowledge of Windows IT applications. (excel, word).
            • Have meticulous attention to detail in carrying out daily tasks and in compiling accurate reports. To strive for excellence in all duties.
            • Ability to follow one’s own initiative. To recognise and to drive improvements and to work as part of the EHS team.
            • A positive attitude to finding solutions to challenges and an ability to produce relevant and workable solutions.
            • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure at times in a changing environment.
