Recycle As Much As Possible This Christmas 19/12/2022

Christmas is coming and with it comes the usual flurry of shopping, wrapping, and preparing for guests. One of the easiest ways to help reduce your environmental impact is by recycling as much as possible. Recycling cardboard, plastic, paper, cans, and other household materials not only saves space and money but also reduces the need to produce new materials and resources.

Remember to place cans and tins in the recycling bin and food waste in the brown compost bin!

Recycle everything you can (paper, glass, cardboard) and sort your rubbish properly so that recyclable items are not mixed in with the non-recyclables.

Please be careful when changing out used batteries. These should not be placed in any household waste bin. Batteries can be recycled by bringing them to a battery collection point/box at your local supermarket or refuse centre.
