We were so lucky to receive an invite to the Leopardstown Christmas Festival Launch at Gordon Elliott's Stables.
This year we continue our participation with the festival as sponsors of the Thorntons Recycling Maiden Hurdle, a race that will take place again on St Stephen's Day.
This year's launch took place at the premier horse trainer Gordon Elliott's facility in Co. Meath.
Gordon walked us around the grounds and stables explaining how his team put the racehorses through their training plans, constantly checking the reactions of each horse to the conditions in order to have them ready for their race days.
We look forward to seeing how many winners during the festival Gordon and his team achieve, and whether they can win the big one, on day one - the Thorntons Recycling Maiden Hurdle!
