We met with the team from Dunshaughlin Community College as
they begin their journey to the 2022 Junk Kouture competition.
The international competition is growing each year with its
emphasis on recycling and sustainability focused on garments.
Eve and Laura met us at our recycling facility in Dunboyne where we safely stored hundreds of aluminium cans that were received from the general public. Eve and Laura diligently removed the ‘ring-pulls’ from each can as this was the secret ingredient for their dress design.
The team promise to send us some more updates as they
progress the construction of the design.
