We welcomed another client who accepted our invitation to tour our facilities to see first-hand what happens to the waste materials once collected from their building sites.
Bracegrade Ltd Building & Civil Engineering Contractors provide a full range of construction services including main contracting, design & build and turnkey contracts. Dedicated to working to the highest health and safety, quality, environmental and sustainability standards.
Joining Barry Lawlor (Commercial Account Manager) and Aimee Quaide (EHS Officer) from Thorntons on the tour were Dermot Donovan (Managing Director), Tim Stuart (Operations Director) & Eoin Gallagher (Financial Controller).
The visitors were very impressed with our Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) process technology. This separating and shredding of materials with high calorific value allows the material to be diverted from landfill and used as a coal replacement in the cement industry.
At the large volume we are able to process with this new equipment we reduce the CO2 emissions of burning coal by a significant amount.
We are currently working with Bracegrade Ltd on a number of projects and they were interested to gain an insight into what happens to the materials once removed from their building sites.
If you wish to tour the facility with some your colleagues, please get in touch with your account manager.
