At Thorntons Recycling, we are always looking for ways to give back to the communities we serve. Recently, we had the pleasure of donating a large skip of high-quality compost to the Silverlawn Residents Association in Navan, Co. Meath, helping to transform their community garden into a lush, thriving space. This compost donation has not only provided a natural boost to the garden but is also playing a key role in supporting local sustainability efforts.

The vegetable planters in the community garden will hopefully become a focal point for local residents, especially those who enjoy gardening but might not have the space at home. With the compost we provided, these planters received a much-needed upgrade. Our nutrient-rich compost offers the perfect environment for vegetables to thrive, With Josef requiring a special shoutout, as he worked exceptionally hard to put our compost to good use!

Our compost also found its way to the base of the apple trees, where it will support their continued long-term growth. We at Thorntons Recycling are hoping that this new green space will inspire members of the community to invest in sustainability and work towards a greener future!
