The Dublin Horse Show is breaking all records this year with an expected 100,000 visitors expected over the 5 day event.

There will be a competitive battle for the famous Aga Khan trophy alongside events such as; Lorenzo, ‘the flying Frenchman’ and the Ladies Day fashion show.

Lorenzo will be showing his horse balancing tricks, including riding 10 horses at the same time!

There are more than 300 trade stands to visit and a ‘packed show’ is promised by RDS Chief Executive Michael Duffy to all equestrian fans.

Thorntons Recycling have sponsored the event for many years and this year is no exception.

On Wednesday, we sponsor The Small Hunter classes and on Saturday we sponsor the Riding for the Disabled class.

Best of all the organisers have promised to take a group of children from The Cherry Orchard Equine Centre, whom we also sponsor, on a course walk prior to the Speed Stakes competition on Wednesday followed by seats in the Main Arena to view the class!
